Sep17, “Budo” Japanese Martial Arts Festival, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Armenia

          The Embassy of Japan, in cooperation with the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and National Olympic Committee of Armenia will hold the “Budo” Japanese Martial Arts Festival to commemorate the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Armenia. The festival will feature performances by Armenian Budo organizations and will welcome special guests from Japan, the Judo masters Mr. Yoshiharu Makishi (1997 World Championships silver medal, Kodokan-7th dan) , Mr. Hiroshi Izumi (Men’s Judo 90 kg category silver medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics, Kodokan 5th dan), and the Karate master Mr. Kenji Kusano (Soke, of Kusano-ha Shito-ryu).  
         We invite you to join us and experience the energy of Japanese martial arts.
