Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects FY 2016 : Completion Ceremony of “Construction of Drainage System in Arapi Village”

     On October 22nd, 2017, a Completion Ceremony of “Construction of Drainage System in Arapi Village” within the frameworks of Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects was held in Arapi Village of Shirak Province. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Eiji Taguchi (Ambassador to the Embassy of Japan) as well as Mr. Albert Ayvazyan (Arapi Head of Community), Mr. Artur Khachatryan (Governor of Shirak Province), Mr. Mushagh Ghazaryan (Head of Rescue Service) and other guests.
 
     The project aimed to improve living condition in Arapi Village where approximately 100 families and 360 residents reside, by constructing drainage system in the village. The Grant Contract (G/C) was signed between the Embassy of Japan and Arapi Village Administration on March 14th, 2017. Total amount of USD 94,873 was funded by the Government of Japan.
