Sep. 20 – Nov. 11 travelling exhibition “The Dolls of Japan”

The Japan Foundation traveling exhibition “The Dolls of Japan” will be held from September 20, 2018 to November 11, 2018. This exhibition introduces Japan’s representative dolls, including Hina ningyo (Girls’ Festival dolls), Gogatsu ningyo (Boys’ Day dolls), dolls which have their origins in ancient customs; like noh, bunraku and kabuki; dolls from different regions of Japan; and “creative dolls” produced by contemporary craftsman.

Admission: The museum admission fee is 500 drams.
*On 7th of September the exhibition will be for the invited guests only. It will be open to the public from 22nd of September.
