Presentation of Credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia by Ambassador Aoki

On January 11, 2024, Ambassador Aoki presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia, H.E. Mr. Vahan Khachaturyan. During the meeting on the occasion of presenting the credentials, President Khachaturyan noted that during the 30 years of diplomatic relations, the two countries have had a special relationship, and expressed hope that this relationship will continue in the future. The President also expressed gratitude for the support provided by the Japanese Government, which has played an important role in economic development of Armenia, as well as refugee assistance.
In response, Ambassador Aoki noted that the two countries have many similarities and common values, and expressed his willingness to spare no effort for the development of such friendship between the two countries, including cooperation in the IT field.
