On May 12, Ambassador Aoki attended the opening ceremony of the "JSB Climate Promise Global Exchange Workshop" held in Yerevan, Armenia. This workshop, as part of UNDP's "Climate Promise initiative," brought together representatives from countries implementing climate action projects funded by Japan's Supplementary Budget (JSB) to exchange views on effective implementation methods. In his opening speech, Ambassador Aoki emphasized the importance of cooperation between Japan and UNDP in supporting climate change countermeasures, particularly in the rapid implementation of climate solutions across important sectors.
