Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects FY2017: Signing Ceremony of “The Project for Improving Children’s Playground Equipment in Kotayk Province and Lori Province”

On March 7th, 2018, a Signing Ceremony of “The Project for Improving Children’s Playground Equipment in Kotayk Province and Lori Province” within the frameworks of Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects was held at Kamaris Village of Kotayk Province. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Eiji Taguchi (Ambassador of Japan to Armenia) as well as Ms. Anahit Tovmasyan (President of Improve Our Village NGO), Ms. Bela Shigaryan (President of International Society for Human Rights NGO), Mr. Karen Margaryan (Deputy Governor of Kotayk Province), Mr. Hamlet Hayrapetyan (Deputy Governor of Kotayk Province), Mr. Levon Kalantaryan (Advisor to the Mayor of Stepanavan City), and number of village heads and kindergarten directors where the project will take place.
The project aims to improve children’s playgrounds in four kindergartens in Kotayk Province and in one central park in Stepanavan City of Lori Province. The Japanese Government will assist for procuring and installing playground equipment. Together with NGO “International Society for Human Rights”, the Recipient will implement this project to improve total number of 3,230 children’s living and educational environment in rural areas.
