     On November 29 and 30, the Japanese drum (Wadaiko) player from Japan Mr. Ichitaro and the Japanese flute player Mr. Koji Kishida held a Japanese drum concert in Yerevan and Vanadzor, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Armenia.
     The concert hall was full on both days, with attendees enjoying the performances of Japanese traditional instruments that were welcomed by rapturous applauses and feedback. In Vanadzor, as a special guest, members of the “Horovel” dance group performed in the concert, resulting in a great collaboration by musicians of both countries.
     Furthermore, on November 29, a special workshop was organized at the Spendiaryan Music School, during which the way of playing traditional musical instruments was introduced. In addition, Japanese musicians organized a joint performance with the pupils of the school.
